How to choose filtration equipment? Check out the filter element solutions!
Filtration equipment is indispensable in industrial and chemical equipment. Effective filtration will help equipment components extend their service life, and maintain and reduce equipment workload. However, the filters on different systems are different. The filter you will choose should be determined based on the filtered media and environment.
The materials of filter elements are divided into: paper, chemical fiber, metal mesh, metal powder sintered, PP filter element, wire gap, activated carbon, etc.
Filter elements are divided into air filter elements, water filter elements, and oil filter elements according to the media used.
According to the hydraulic system, it is divided into: oil suction filter element, pipeline filter element, and oil return filter element. Among them, the water filter element includes a wire wound filter element, PP melt-blown filter element, folded filter element, and large flow filter element.
PP melt-blown filter element:
Features: coarse outer fiber, fine inner fiber, loose outer layer, tight inner layer with gradual diameter and gradually tight structure. The unique gradient deep filtration forms a three-dimensional filter residue effect, with the characteristics of high porosity, good interception rate, large dirt holding capacity, large flow rate, and low pressure drop. PP melt-blown filter element has good self-cleanliness and no pollution to water quality. It is resistant to corrosion by chemical reagents such as acids alkalis and organic solvents. The PP melt-blown filter element has high strength. When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter is 0.4Mpa, the filter element does not deform.
Function: The filtration accuracy is divided into 1 micron and 5 microns. Perform initial filtration on the raw water to remove suspended matter, sediment, rust, colloid, and other substances in the water to form the RO membrane inlet water requirement.
Wound filter element:
Material: The yarn materials include polypropylene fiber, absorbent cotton fiber, etc.
Features: Made of textile fiber yarn with good filtering performance precisely wound on a porous skeleton. By controlling the winding tightness and density of the yarn during winding, filter elements of different precisions can be made.
Function: It can remove suspended matter and particulate impurities in water.
Pleated filter element:
Material: Precision filter element made of polypropylene hot-spray fiber membrane, nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene microporous filter membrane, etc. as filter media.
Features: The filter element end cover seal and the overall structure connection are hot-melt bonded, with the advantages of small size, large filtration area, and high precision.
Function: Filtration accuracy ranges from 0.1 microns to 60 microns. It can remove visible particles and suspended matter in water.
Stainless steel mesh filter element:
Material: Stainless steel Features: High strength, good rigidity, uniform precision, can be used repeatedly.
Function: The filtration precision ranges from 30 to 80 microns, and can remove visible particles and suspended matter in the water.
